My impression of QB's from what I saw in section H:
Stephens sucked. He couldn't complete a pass to save his life and looked like he wasn't even attempting to hustle most of the time.
Crompton started off strong, but had some serious accuracy issues towards the end of the game.
Coleman looked quite good, but he didn't touch the ball as much as I thought he should have.
Out of the three, I'd say Stephens is out as a potential starter. IMO the job goes to BJ right now.
I agree. Crompton made some very strong throws, but the consistency still isn't there. He did look better than last year though.... I think we've got a lot to look forward to this upcoming season; it was nice to see a little offense for a change. Did anyone else get a glimpse of Denarius Moore's catch in the first half?? That was awesome.
I met two posters today... rbroyles at Calhouns and Bdarnell at the game. Me and Matts42012volfan went to Calhouns but had noway of identifying you guys sorry we didnt stick around more than twenty min. rbroyles asked us if we were Volnation posters while walking to Calhouns, thats the only reason we met him. It was good to meet you rbroyles and Bdarnell!
Warren has had his number back for a little while, Crusse.-For those wondering, Jones played the majority of the game. He was in on special teams as well, they just didn't punt to him.
-I think it's completely wrong that we have a punter on the roster with the #47, but is not a Colquitt.
-While Crompton looked slightly worse than Coleman, Crompton was going against a top 5 defense while Coleman was up against the backups.
-Hancock was in with all 3 teams at different points in the game. There are reasons he was getting so many plays. For example, Jones was only with the starters, so he had fewer opportunities. Same thing happened for Brandon Warren.
-Brandon Warren had the #1 jersey again, but I don't know if he earned it or if it was for identification purposes. If it was for the latter, his performance on the field today earned it back.
-Luke Stocker still blows.
-The miss by Lincoln was literally inches. It was that close to hitting the upright.
-Hopefully something was going down on special teams. I'd like to believe our returns were vanilla. I'd also like to believe that our coverage is that much better. But my gut says that it will be many starts from our own 20 next year...
-Chris Walker is ready to be a beast for the season. This marks the 2nd Brothers' Boy to breakout this spring (Along with Blake Forsythe on the Baseball team).
