1. It’s a 50-50 split and as geographically close to the Georgia border as any site could be.

2. This is regarding a previous post...the game being in Jacksonville is not a disadvantage for Tennessee. Whether in Jacksonville, Athens, Gainesville, or Bora Bora, one team is going to get a win and another team is going to get a loss.
Jacksonville is pretty far away from Athens.

HustlandVolinColo, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read on VolNation. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forumis now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

For future reference, blue font is used for extreme sarcasm.

Because if you look at history, Tennessee usually plays its best ball in November.
Yeah but is that because we have always played our best in November or because we have mostly always played Vandy, Kentucky, and other creampuffs in November? Our schedule has always been front end loaded, would be nice to change that.

We just pistol whipped a Kentucky team that was ranked No. 11 in the country. We couldn't even line up in September. As a general rule, teams that are well coached get better as the year goes along. I would much rather play the most meaningful games at the end of the season.

I'm not talking about this year, you said historically Tennessee plays it's best ball in November. What I am saying is historically our November schedule has been kind of light. It's a chicken or the egg question. I agree though, I'd rather play somebody tough in November.

EDIT: sorry about the double post, mods please delete one when you get time.

Florida doesn't want to play in the cold and somehow the SEC has coddled this. Of course looks like next year they play mizzou in November; probably will be record heat next year since it's record cold this year...
