Great point. OU’s Mateer escaped criticism/scrutiny also.Yep, they made us the punchline in this one. Funny that no one seems to even slightly compare it the Carson Beck situation. (I can’t imagine Miami is in a better position than Georgia to win; is he getting paid that much more? He had use of a private jet for crying out loud!) I’m sure Georgia fans are getting rid of their Beck jerseys now regardless.

I would like to say that this will never happen since the uniform rules are fairly strict with the NCAA (from what I understand NCAA even has final say on any alternate uniform), but as soon as the NBA and NFL start selling ads on jerseys, college football won't be far behind.Can't imagine Food City or Flying J on a Players Jersey. PLEASE NO!
