I attended their sister institute, the now defunct ‘Nasson College’ in Springvale for one year before I wisely transferred back to civilization.

Yeahbut…That’s so far south it’s dangerously close to Mass., and you know what those people are like! That school in Waldoboro was once, believe it or don’t, a button factory.

This occurred during an open contact period. Tampering and contact periods have been subverted by agents, lawyers and family to the point that they have become moot. Any coach or member of a staff to directly contact an athlete, the traditional definition of tampering, at this point, would be an imbecile.

Not having a high level PG is likely problematic, but is there any smoke we are still recruiting Edwards or to a lesser extent Civil, who left when we had zero returning players? That potential would motivate me to move quickly with a couple of key adds.

Possibly. If she were to see that we've recruited a good team to replace the defectors, perhaps she would reconsider. But if one of them were to flip back, I think it far more likely to be Civil, who I felt jumped ship just because of the uncertainty when she saw the whole team evaporate. Oliviyah can go play anywhere she wants to, on her terms.

It seemed that Big O was more committed to Gabe than the LV program per se. In her social media posts, she referred to Gabe a her coach. Once he left, the related idea of being part of the LV rebuild faded fast.
