The recruits were going wild all night long….it was pretty cool to see them so fired up as opposed to just standing around. Even when the fans were throwing stuff they were jumping around having fun.

I don’t see it like you do. I think the idiots who threw stuff on the field will hurt us in recruiting.

Yeah, my parents were terrorized when they visited Florida back then for a VOLS game. I don't think that is anything that a rational person would want to emulate. I"m glad the recruits had fun. The thing that will be forgotten is VOLS fans tailgating with OM fans before the game etc. SEC network had a picture of it before all this other happened.

What would influence the visitors would be what the fans around them were saying or doing. If the fans they could hear and see around them were acting like buffoons, maybe that might put the thought in several heads, "Do I really want to spend my years of college football representing these people?"

But if the fans around them were embarrassed and condemning of the behavior, especially if they voiced concern for the people on the field... that would leave a much better impression.
