Hopefully E addresses this issue through scheduling moving forward. Raising the floor from 300 to 150 would help a bunch. Something I scream and raise all manners of hell about over in the LVBB forum.

For years, teams on the bubble have canceled games that would pull down their RPI if played.

No. Not that I recall the last couple of years. Vitello was asked about it but glazed…

Unless there’s some penalty (like adjusting RPI as if the game was played- but do you pretend the higher team wins, or loses?), what can you do?

The Miss State game was cancelled 24 hours out. The LSU game, 6 hours out. The TAMU game 4 hours out. Don’t kid yerself…

What I had wasn’t that extensive but was a lot; and as you anticipate, it was bad the first 2 1/2 days — as soon as the local anesthetic wore off. Dentist checked in with me and I told him it hurt and he gave me something stronger that I took 3 days. Then went back to something weak after day 3, then finished on regular ole Ibuprofen. Glad you seem to be doing well.

Shoot, I thought the root canal I had done last week sucked. Hope you're doing ok.

My dad has had dentures all his life...I've certainly considered it. Just get all the dental work done once and be done. Tempting.

Would agree. Gotta be tough to do for mid week games. Think CTV was trying last year to get those that wanted to play a full 9 and not implement the run rule.

We’re never done that — at least in these past 5 years — but I recall it happening every year. I remember posts that listed the cancellations and explained the purpose.

For that letter to be sent out only a week before the final midweek games, I wonder if someone was complaining to the NCAA.
