She happens to remind me of a young Jessica Alba from the 1990s.

I liked the guy, but Barnes is portal-ing over him, which I like more. That's just part of the game now. And Barnes is working it like a champ. The people who imagined that Barnes was too old and set in his ways to roll with the changes don't look too smart about now.

It looks like the X post has it's arrow backwards, but what do I care?

My fault, really. It was a fail on my part. I had to walk a fine line if I wanted people to get it (to look for what I thought was about to happen) but without tipping off VP -- who ironically seemed to me to be the only one to pick up on what I was laying down. I thought you were baiting him into jumping on a post about a Jessica wannabe. 🤣 Besides, Chuckie's joke was too funny and no one could un-see it and my little effort was buried. Meh.

You cared enough to comment about the post. Don't think anyone said Barnes was to old, that's just another "narrative" fans make up to get conversation rolling.

"The game having passed Barnes by" was a theme in the basketball handwringing the first two years of the portal. It was intolerable in there. This year is the first time there has been any semblance of sanity there imo. And the media in general were all about criminal Nate Oats' new ideas, etc. There have been some old curmudgeons in all sports who retired because they didn't like how things have changed.

Anyway, yeah I thought it was a good post. Thanks for posting it.
