Its certainly no friendly place to be as a female player.
The officiating in women's sports seems to me at least (admittedly I don't watch a lot) to ignore gross fouls (that often appear deliberate) until things overheat. The way they let that rookie basketball player from Iowa get the hell beat out of her all year long was disgraceful. But did it draw views and attention? And then you have the many player social media posts seeming to lead with their sexual attraction.

It's as if sex and violence is the marketing plan. To me that implies that they lack confidence in their product. They should think more of themselves imo.

Anyway, call the d-mn fouls and the fouls will stop before the retaliatory fights break out. The fights indicate that the players feel that they cannot rely on the officiating.

Mercifully I'm not seeing this pattern in softball. Really hoping this is the SoftVols year! They are fun to watch play.
