My daughter is getting married this weekend, big wedding, 200 people coming from all over. The venue contacted my future son-in-law last night. The venue is in financial trouble and shutting down. I can’t believe it. They are scrambling trying to make alternative arrangements. Fortunately they took out insurance.

With them having insurance as a backup plan this ended up a good thing I assume?

I’m guessing the reason for the loss is that midterms are going on at LSU right now and the team is focused on school and not baseball.

Thank you. I believe they found another place and are able to get the vendors that were doing the wedding. I don’t want to bother them because they went there with his mom. I haven’t even told my parents or anyone because I was asked by them not to yet. Many of those vendors are pissed because they didn’t get paid for weddings that they did last week. I’ve heard that the venue that suddenly closed is gonna be a big deal, IRS might be involved and will make the news once word spreads.
