What triggered the emergency warning at Scottsdale Stadium in the first inning? Someone was smoking in a restroom, and it set off the alarm. True story.

I just went back and looked at some of the game thread.....goodness, we have some bat chit crazy fans. Reminds me why I don't hop in those threads often. Where do they come from? I'm guessing Bucksnort. Or maybe the far end of Maynardville.

Watching the Olympics closing ceremony reminds me of our home games and our national anthem. I am not sure who selects the artists but they do a wonderful job and I appreciate it when they don't try to create their own version.

I remember the 1980 game like it was yesterday. That stands as one of the greatest games I have ever watched.

I was 15 and we were living in Paris at the time, my dad and I were watching the game, with about two minutes left, French TV cut away to other programming.

I got rear ended less than a mile from there about a year and a half ago. Those accidents happen almost daily, it’s just nuts. In mine some tool in a beast of an SUV was zipping along at highway speed and then whipped a lane to the right at the last second to avoid stopped traffic. The guy behind him was suddenly confronted with a not moving car he couldn’t even see til that moment and stood on his brakes. I was behind that guy, and had time to stop too. Guy behind that? Got into me hard enough to launch me into the car in front of me. But I got to go home. I’m heartbroken for Wes Rucker’s family.

I was driving on Alcoa Highway south by the airport in right lane at afternoon rush hour.

There was young woman in my rear bumper so close I could county her nose hairs. I KNEW everyday that there someone was going to slow to make a left turn through median. Normally at the left turn near subway and Applebee's. The chick was not backing off even when I tapped by brakes.

Sure enough traffic slowed suddenly and I went straight into the grassy median, she went right by me and hit the car ahead of me.

I we on and called the police and provided my name as a witness. I hope the officer pistol whipped her.

The "Booster Class" that now has all the porches have no real experience of cooking outside on their own.

Their grill steward obviously had day off.
