By all means, I am not making excuses for these guys. I make the trip through Atlanta several times a month. Including out to Athens. I have drove in most of the countries busiest cities. I am an aggressive driver. It is easy to get caught up in the flow of traffic around Athens to Atlanta and look down and your running 90. Atlanta radius is the most dangerous place to drive in the country.
No excuses. At their age I had several traffic violations on my record.
Multiple traffic violations? You would’ve been an automatic 4 star recruit with a guaranteed $500k-$1M NIL deal.By all means, I am not making excuses for these guys. We are going to have to be patient with this young team and enjoy the growth.I'm so sick of these armchair Head Coaches in Game threads.. Antigua best defensive player in team and with him and Marin up the middle best SS and 2nd baseman combo at Tennessee in years.
So what if he is hitting .214? Levi Clark hitting .173 and crickets about that...damn morons...
What a cutie!!@CobbWebb71 baby picture.
I get a kick out of folks predicting Omaha after playing Nichols and other inferior teams that would be lucky to go .100 if they only played SC and Missouri for 50 games. Now more than ever, the non conference teams are devoid of talent since most of them have been picked over by D1 powers thanks to NIL and the portal. Like we will see in March Madness, Cinderella is long gone.We are going to have to be patient with this young team and enjoy the growth.
Last nights outcome could’ve very easily gone the other way.
If Ariel hits .240 and takes his walks and lays down a few bunts, it will be hard to keep him out of the lineup as long as the rest of the offense is humming. He’s magical with the glove. He’s just a human highlight reel in the middle infield.Well if you enjoy fans crapping on the best defensive player on the team, by all means go ahead. That's a hard pass for me....

Myatt is a baller!!I get a kick out of folks predicting Omaha after playing Nichols and other inferior teams that would be lucky to go .100 if they only played SC and Missouri for 50 games. After mid April, we will know who the players are. The inexperience of this team concerns me regarding making it past Supers. Meanwhile, I’m going to still enjoy a very talented team. There’s no way I keep Myatt out of the lineup until he proves otherwise.
The problem is, he isn’t even hitting that. A career .200 hitter and only .214 so far this year. His OBP has taken a massive jump to .368 this year but I just find it hard to believe they will keep Myatt’s bat out of the lineup down the stretch whenever he can be the literal difference between you winning and losing a ballgame with his power. Antigua could always prove everyone wrong and start hitting better but we are in Year 3 and not a whole lot has changed. If Ariel hits .240 and takes his walks and lays down a few bunts, it will be hard to keep him out of the lineup as long as the rest of the offense is humming. He’s magical with the glove. He’s just a human highlight reel in the middle infield.
How did some of the players know it was immediately gone? Look at the Kent player at third, the second the ball made contact, he walked straight off, didn’t even turn around.
