I can't remember what year I started losing faith in coach Fulmer. I do remember I
got so sick & tired watching his reactions to players turnovers. He would clap at
them coming off the field after a big mess up. His answer was I didn't want them
to loose confidence and stand around w/their heads down feeling guilty that they
let us down. I would've been up in their face mask chewing their butts off. You can't handle them w/kid gloves & give them milk and cookies when they misbehave.

I don’t think I ever really lost all my faith in him. I was very upset after the 2001 season just because I really felt like we were the only team that could beat Miami and we choked that opportunity away. Felt we could have beaten LSU in 2007 for the SEC Championship also and blew that one. That game was the epitome of that season. Could go toe to toe with a national title contender but could also have a WTF play in the same exact game.

I just came across a funny joke on the subject in Wuthering Heights last night.
