Can we all agree that recruiting now is 95% about money and 5% about building relationships?

The days of a player being loyal are going to be gone very shortly. There will be a few players that deserve the VFL stature but not many... I'm still not sold on the one year mercenaries that we bring in to be considered a VFL. I appreciate everything they do but just one year seems kinda shady to be considered a VFL but I suppose everyone can decide by their selves on their version of who is and who shouldn't be...

No longer VFL. Its Vol get the job done for one year and win. I don’t even understand recruiting hs players anymore when there doesn’t seem much development. Its all a money grab now. That Washington qb is a prime example. Coach says he has to earn his trust back with the team, no sh**. College sports, I have no words for anymore. They've killed it.
