Huge game to open up SEC play today on the road at Arkansas. I will be glued to the couch at 3pm. Hopefully these young men continue their recent upward trend. Barnes seems to have them locked in after that 3 game skid.

If Gillespie and Ament perform we win if not it's a long quiet ride back to Knoxville... Arkansas is more athletic team...

I know Knowles will be 61 years old by the time next season gets here. Poindexter will be 50. Hopefully Knowles is here for 5+ years to build a great defense and then Poindexter can takeover the reigns as he is listed as “co-DC”.

Yeah it’s frustrating at times. I love the fact we usually have an explosive hitter anywhere in the lineup but I would like to see it balanced out a little more with situational hitting. There have been some games that have been hard to watch with the high strikeout rates. We win more times than not though so I can’t really complain.
