Yea, I read where RedSox were in Catbirds seat with Bichette. Something interesting I read was the Giants may be a sleeper team..Adames, Devers and Bichette would be gruesome for an opposing pitching staff.I saw last night that the Yankees made an offer to Bellinger.
Also, the Dodgers, Yankees and Cubs are talking to Bichette’s people, gauging interest.
But I also keep reading he’s really high on the Red Sox, if he doesn’t resign with Toronto.
I’m not just saying this just because of Tony V, but that Giants team might be sneaky good this season.Yea, I read where RedSox were in Catbirds seat with Bichette. Arenado needs a fresh start and the Angels may just be the team to give him one.... Could be a win, win for Cards and Angels. If Arenado comes to Angels and plays out of his mind and Angels still sucks then they could flip him to a contender at trade deadline...@knoxvol52
If you were calling the shots for the Angels, would you go after Arenado, especially after the whole Rendon thing?
Arenado had his worst offensive season ever and he’s 34. Surely there’s a young 3rd baseman out there somewhere that can give you defense on the cheap??
Buster Olney predicted a Dodger at the deadlineArenado needs a fresh start and the Angels may just be the team to give him one.... Could be a win, win for Cards and Angels. As for Skubal the rumors now it will be at trade deadline before he gets traded...Dodgers still got the inside push to acquire him because Tigers aren't going to pony up the $350 to $400 million to re-sign Skubal...
I don’t think we will see a big difference. Maybe in late game situations he will change up the script some but I don’t see it happening too often. Elander had a career .950 OPS in college himself so I think he will still emphasize getting on base and extra base hits at his core. Biggest thing I’m interested to see is how the pitching staff is managed. He seems to have surrounded himself with a great staff so I’m excited.Do you guys think we will see a little different mentality from Elander than TV? Maybe some more bunting and manufacturing runs instead of waiting for the 3 run homer ?
