Phillies were 1 game out of the best record in baseball and Schwarber was a huge reason for that. He was more valuable to his team than Ohtani this year. You take Ohtani off the Dodgers and they are still a great team. You take Schwarber off the Phillies and they are one of the worst division winners in baseball this year.
Schwarber probably was more valuable to the success of his team if we are being honest.
But Shohei is the best player in the NL and it’s not even really that close.

Correct. .. he is just a Ohtani hater in general... If Ohtani was playing for another team I would also say he is the best player in N.L.
I’ve said Ohtani is the best player in the game but that doesn’t mean he deserved MVP this season. Michael Jordan was the best player in the NBA on an annual basis and he didn’t win MVP every year.

Lady Vols hold on for a 68-58 win..

In Men's action Alabama lost at home to Purdue...don't care if it was Purdue, F Alabama..
If Alabama doesn’t play in an up tempo high scoring type of game they get all out of sorts. Seems to be the M.O. for that program under Oats.

$176 MM in buyouts for NCAA football coaches so far this year.
I read somewhere that LSU and Brian Kelly will probably negotiate a reduced buyout. Also, James Franklin has offset language in his contract so whatever job he lands next will cut his buyout number down, unless he decides to go the Butch Jones route and be an assistant or analyst. Sounds like he wants to jump right back into a head coaching job though.

Kelly is overrated. He'd be a good go for coach somewhere.
