We had to play Alabama every single season through the dynasty and will continue to play them. If the rest of the conference wants to get their panties in a wad over us playing Kentucky and Vanderbilt then maybe they shouldn’t have allowed us to play those teams a combined 222 times prior. I think it’s perfectly fair since we always had the toughest schedule in the conference for an extended period of time. As always, a big 🖕 to the rest of the SEC. I don’t care what those other fans say about us.

Throw in two other top 10 teams out of the West whenever we played 3 cross divisional opponents. 2011 had to play #1 LSU, #2 Alabama, and #8 Arkansas as our West teams. Heck even after we trimmed to 2 West teams there was 2013 we had to play a schedule of #2, #19, #6, #11, #1, #9, #9 in 7 out of 8 weeks. From 2011-2014 every single West opponent we played was ranked inside the top 20 and 8 of the 9 we played were top 10. I don’t want to hear 💩 about our schedule from anyone.

It seems like the coach doesn’t know the rule either. At that point after two times, if I’m the crew chief, I’m taking it upon myself to gather the coach and the players to the mound and ask them if they know the time out rule. If they don’t then I would let them know they can only call time from the pitchers mound. Are we not here to teach these kids the game of baseball? You are only going to deter them if they continue to do something they think is right but is actually not. They are still learning and it’s a teachable moment instead of letting them get embarrassed on national television all because nobody knows what to do.
