If what Jerry is saying is true then Micah needs to fire his agent ASAP. You get offered the richest non-QB contract in NFL history and your agent tells the owner “shove it where the sun don’t shine”, there is a huge problem there. Jerry called his bluff and said “look here, we basically have you under team control for the next three seasons if you count the franchise tags so it’s no skin off my back and you have zero leverage here. The ball is in your agent’s court.” Glad he is airing this out in public to show just how idiotic some of these agents really are.

Jerry Jones said the agreement he believed he made with Micah Parsons would have been the richest ever for a non-quarterback, adding, "Nobody has ever offered him more money than I have to play football. Period."

I might hate on Jerry for a lot of his decisions but he is on the money in this situation. Parsons’ agent is only screwing over his client by behaving like this. What’s going to happen if Parsons goes and has some random catastrophic injury away from the team? Secure your multi-generational wealth while you can and stop dilly dallying around.
