Through seven innings, 73 pitches, no hitter intact.

Hader shutdown for 3 weeks with left shoulder capsule strain. That is NOT something to mess with. Hopefully his rehab goes well and it doesn’t progress into frozen shoulder.

Funny thing is, I was so naive as a kid in middle school that I believed Barry Bonds whenever he said he didn’t take anything. He went from being one of my favorite players in the game to my least favorite player of all-time.

I never liked Bonds.
I always heard stories about him being a jerk.
Bobby Bonilla was my guy for the Pirates.
I remember a news story about the entire Pirates squad going to the Pittsburgh children’s hospital, except Barry Bonds, because he had just signed with Steiner sports(maybe?) and was not willing to give away his autograph for free.
What a jerk!

Yeah now that we know who the users were, looking back it’s kind of hard to think the majority of people didn’t realize just by looking how jacked some of those dudes were. You can only get so big naturally so it’s easy to tell who is taking something.

That’s why I’ve always respected Jose Canseco.
He straight up came clean and called out all the others for lying.

The Wilds. It’s a 10,000 acre wild life refuge that is part of the Columbus Zoo. My wife does guided tours there 3-4 times a week.
