Yeah, he was one of my favorite non Cardinal players back then. As were a lot of the we are family Pirates, with of course Stargell being my favorite. No way!!!
I grew up loving the Braves and Mets, Murphy and Strawberry, but the Cobra and Dave Concepcion always had a special place for me!
I’m so glad Parker was inducted into the Hall, while still living.
This is a fun subject and this question is for everyone.Yeah, he was one of my favorite non Cardinal players back then. As were a lot of the we are family Pirates, with of course Stargell being my favorite.
Gary Carter is anotherThis is a fun subject and this question is for everyone.
Who were your favorite players growing up?
I had a ton...
Dale Murphy
Darryl Strawberry
Bob Horner
Eric Davis
Jose Canseco
Bo Jackson
Jose Cruz
Doc Gooden
George Brett
And for some reason I loved collecting cards of Parker, Concepcion and the Reds.
I never even saw Jose Cruz play a game but for some strange reason, I had a Cruz Astros jersey when I was little and wore that thing all of the time!
I have watched a ton of videos on him now and he was a great player and still one of my favorites.
I watched a movie with Ethan Hawke that was pretty wild, with a crazy twist. Can anyone think of a movie or novel in which the protagonist is having to live near-simultaneously in two realities, which may or may not overlap? Could be sci-fi, psychological drama, or a comedy.
So many. This is a fun subject and this question is for everyone.
