Alton Kelley, a San Francisco graphic artist whose psychedelic posters and album covers captured the mood and music of the Grateful Dead, the Steve Miller Band, Journey and other top rock 'n' roll groups of the '60s and '70s, has died.

I have a confession to make. Given a choice between either a Tennessee football or basketball NC or a repeat basevol back to back. I’d take the later.
Anyone else feel this way?

Last night on the CFP playoff preview on ESPN, interestingly what I have said numerous times will happen. If 2 teams are close in the selection process then the OOC STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE will be a big factor. Not as stupid as some think I am.

Last night on the CFP playoff preview on ESPN, interestingly what I have said numerous times will happen. If 2 teams are close in the selection process then the OOC STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE will be a big factor. Not as stupid as some think I am.

If the two teams didn’t play each other and quality wins are similar then OOC is the only thing you have to go off of. BTW, our OOC schedule in 2025 is just as bad as this year. Syracuse is the “big game” followed by ETSU, UAB, and New Mexico State. I guess it’s nice having 4 automatic wins on the schedule but it’s horrible for viewership and if we are so lucky enough to be in CFP consideration we will have that as a knock against us.

Good news is that as of right now we still have a home and home schedule with Nebraska for 2026-27 and Washington for 2029-30. We get those teams in Neyland in 2027 and 2029.

I understand 1 cupcake but good grief that schedule isn't any better than this year's OOC.

Tennessee will play 2 teams that could go 0-24 combined this season.

I’m fairly certain the series with Nebraska and Washington will be our first against a Big 10 school. All the other games vs the Big 10 that we’ve played have been a Bowl game or neutral site.

He also played at the Pyramid. Seeing the Eagles was the Crown Jewel though.
