I actually really like cucumbers. My fascination with them started as a kid when my mom would make homemade sweet pickles. We grew them on our farm and would go out and pick them every night. They have a unique smell when pulled from the vine, and you never forget the feel of those prickly vines rubbing against your arms as you pull them off...
