Whenever I saw it on the front page of ESPN I thought the same thing since he went down last night. Either way, it’s unfortunate news but glad they found out before something really adverse occurred. Prayers for her throughout her treatment

I would love to have Dansby back with the Braves but we have a young stud in Vaughn Grissom that can take the reins if all else fails. The Cardinals would be getting a great player if they snag Swanson but their issue is starting pitching imo. They were 15th (2nd worst for playoff teams) in MLB in quality starts.

You mention the pitching, and I agree. It’s kind of ironic that Quintana was almost untouchable in his 2+ months with the Cardinals and yet wasn’t even offered any kind of deal, while Waino was shelled in September and was offered 17.5 million. The Cards have a rich history of offering beloved players wads of “thanks for being a Cardinal” money ala Matt Carpenter, Wainwright, and others.

Driving to St Louis. All I know is: from Jackson take US 412 to Dyersburg then cross the mighty Mississippi River Bridge and get on I-55 & go North. Gotta stop in Sikeston, MO to eat their world famous food where they like throwing rolls at ya. Then gas up & carry on to St.Louis.

Beats me. I don't live in a hotel/motel in Jackson.
But if I had to choose it would be a Hampton Inn on I-40 W next to Jackson.
Jackson has a ton of good hotels/motels. I know nothing of Dyersburg & their city.

Yeah it appeared to be a cramp whenever it happened live. I just thought it was a coincidence whenever that popped up on ESPN. If I was following that Tamari had sat out against UTC I would have connected the dots before I opened the article.

only place ive been forced to stay over night on that route was in Corinth--- amid a monsoon last year

Had to stay in Corinth one weekend bc my son (Riley) was on a traveling soccer team.
The hotel we stayed in just happened to have (next door) the best damn steakhouse in MS.
