I've had it on (mute) while I'm posting here on the computer. Just checking the score.
It's not football season to me ... therefore, I can't get into it. I can only tolerate it a few minutes.

I will say the USFL looks to have more fan support than those other failed spring football leagues. If they hadn’t tried to compete with the NFL their first go around then they might have stayed halfway relevant all these years later.

Wasn't it Vince McMahon & Donald Trump the big promoters back then ... 40 years ago?

Vince owned the XFL. Trump owned one of the USFL teams. David Dixon founded the USFL. Some owners got big headed and thought they could pay USFL players NFL salaries even though they promised to keep costs under control.

Philadelphia is the underdog so I’m rooting for them, plus it’s against an Alabama team which is an extra bonus.
