4 Texas Tech

5 Oregon
6 Ole Miss
7 Texas A&M
8 Oklahoma
9 Notre Dame
10 Alabama
11 Tulane
12 James Madison

First Teams Out:

I have a hard time believing they punish Alabama for playing in the SEC Championship. Only way that possibly could have happened imo was if BYU won today but even then I think they would have ended up pushing ND out because the committee values championship games. Another thing they are going to have to think about is the possibility of having a lot of regular season rematches that could negatively impact ratings.

Ole Miss already played Tulane (pretty much guaranteed this one)

A&M already played ND

Oklahoma already played Alabama

A few reasons why I would elevate Georgia over Ohio State is because they do have a common opponent in Texas, both played at home. Georgia absolutely destroyed them while Ohio State went down to the wire. Also, entering today there was a rather large gap in SOS with Ohio State at 46th and Georgia 25th.
