Phillies are going to have a big decision on their hands with Schwarber in the offseason. He will be commanding a big payday but is 32 years old now. He has been on an unbelievable run with them ever since he signed there but typically players start to decline after their age 32 season. He might be able to give a couple more big seasons but I would expect a drop off after that. Phillies have been really smart in free agency the past several years so I could see them letting him walk and not overpaying for an aging power hitting DH. If they decide to go that route I could see him going back to the Red Sox and trying to make them a World Series contender for the next couple of years. He would fill that DH spot perfectly being their new Big Papi.
