If it were up to me, and if this is legal, I would just have 3 men’s and 3 women’s sports. Baseball, basketball and football for men.I believe AD DW will do the right thing and spread the wealth with the revenue money. Although there will be a lot of pressure to dump it all into football, I believe DW does what's best for this University as a whole.
So you would dump one of the best swimming teams in America. Look around all University of Tennessee sports are striving at the moment. You really believe NIL has anything to do with Women's Rowing or Tennis? If it were up to me, and if this is legal, I would just have 3 men’s and 3 women’s sports. Basketball, softball and volleyball for women.
looks like the GulfThe rain moved out and the little CobbWebbs are building a sand village!
I’m so jealous of you guys that live near a beach... @MAD

I'm fired up over this topic, for individuals who think dumping all the Revenue into football and put will help Tennessee win in the long run aren't seeing the big picture. Ohio State will do the same thing and still have that $20 million more to spend than Tennessee...
I’m with you. I recently realized I’m close to Tennessee Wesleyan and apparently they had/have a really nice baseball program right now.I'm here to say if Tennessee puts all that Revenue money into trying to buy a College Football Championship and let the other sports go back to mediocrity, I'm out.
I was there and had a perfect view. It was more than that. Several Vandy players were yelling and cursing and pointing directly at UT players in our dugout (instead of celebrating with each other). They absolutely provoked it and it was over the top directed at TN’s dugout. There’s no way Ensley should have ignored it jogging in from 3rd base. And this is why we are 7-8 at home. Zero leadership on this team. Take your loss and go tf home. If you don’t want the opponent celebrating on your home field then maybe you should have cared enough to do something about it while the game was going on. I hope Tony lit into their asses after the game.
I really don't like the way he stated it. The way DW has run the AD I hope he still wants us to be an all around athletes department. We have the right man in Tony V hope he continues to get the support that he needs. I know Barnes has enough on the side to keep basketball going strong. Hope TONY V does also. No doubt most fans want a championship in football I do too but not at the expense of all sports. I like having a punchers chance in all sports to support year round.I guess we’ll have to disagree on this but one. Setting up the hypothetical that there will be a cut back on baseball funding in order to state that Tony should go to Miss State is straight BS. My opinion, granted.
First time I’ve ever had a problem with Ben. But now? I’ve got a problem with Ben.
This is closer to my perspective.I really don't like the way he stated it. The way DW has run the AD I hope he still wants us to be an all around athletes department. It’s always kind of been that way. That and having a system to avoid getting caught. To maintain parity, I suspect SEC will mandate revenue share as:
NIL will still be the Wild, Wild West. I will probably stop watching if it continues to be who has the largest buckets of money to buy the best one year mercenaries. What a joke….
- 75% to football players
- 15% to men’s basketball
- 5% to women's basketball
- 5% to other sports (including baseball)
Don't back down man . How about them Yankees they had the highest paid teams year after year but didn't totally dominate. Baseball can get by with 2 really outstanding pitchers and good relievers. With a coaching staff that can develop you for the majors can recruit enough to be competitive. Just need a couple big donors to pay the way for a couple top dogs.To maintain parity, I suspect SEC will mandate revenue share as:

I agree with you. I’m just saying what I’d do if I had to use the revenue split model.I'm fired up over this topic, for individuals who think dumping all the Revenue into football and put will help Tennessee win in the long run aren't seeing the big picture. Ohio State will do the same thing and still have that $20 million more to spend than Tennessee...
