Both teams have batted & still NO score. Going to the T 2nd.

ICYMI ..... This is how the 2nd Game ended w/the Vols wining in xtras..

This is what happened in the 1st game today that set-off both teams at the plate .....

Auburn w/the bases loaded .... Tony sends AJ Russell to the showers
w/NO outs T 3rd. AJ Russell was up to 45 pitches today. Snead comes in for Russell.
Wild pitch scores Auburn w/the 1st run. Base hit up the middle scores another run.
Fielders choice scores Auburn's 3rd run w/only 1 out. Next batter hits a double and the Vols are in deep . 4-0 now w/this game being only 7 innings.

He's throwing strikes & they just look at it or pop it up. Unbelievable.

All that bellyaching how Tony would NEVER jeopardize a pitcher’s health and throw him back out there in Game 2 on 1 day of rest after only throwing 23 pitches. Pitched 2 clutch innings and got the win. I guess Tony and I have a similar line of thinking.

It’s a combination of a few factors:

1. My dad and I went to a lot of movies when I was a kid
2. I roomed with a film major in college (my roomies were film, music and history majors…. They used to make fun of me for going into lab to “distill water” but now I get the last laugh.)
3. I made a point of seeing the “classics” and movies that are “talked about”
4. Wife and I used to go to movie every week, but we stopped with kids and the offerings aren’t so hot these days. We’re all excited about the new mission impossible though.

Then Doyle gets suspended, sounds like a full day to me...

Personally I think A.J. Russell should come back next season and be #1 starter. Definitely will put him in top 10 to 15 draft position...
