NFL regular-season games averaged 17.9 million viewers, up 7% from last season and tied for the second highest since averages were first tracked in 1995.
FOX actually had a 2% drop in overall viewership but everyone else saw their largest increases in several years. CBS had its best season since 1998. Monday Night Football had its best season since 2000. Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime saw a 24% increase. Sunday Night Football on NBC saw its best year since 2015. Very odd that FOX had a bad season but all the other networks feasted.
I realize there are many aspects that are different, but just noting that in Andy Reid's last 2 years in Philly, he went 8-8 and then 4-12, and in Belichick's last 2 years, New England went 8-9 and then 4-13.....
