I simply loved watching Webb run the football. I saw that OM game on TV too that day.
I was so sad & disappointed that day when he went down & we lost him for the season after tearing up his ACL. I believe it was his junior/senior year? Only like the 3rd game. Johnny Majors recruited him out of Cleveland, Ohio. Not sure how he got him here. He was part of the great tandem of running backs that was the famous Cobb/Webb effect.

I thought we were the cursed ones growing up after that 2001 CWS. We averaged 12 runs per game and didn’t even make the Finals because Miami averaged 12.25 runs per game. Any other season we would have been national champs.
