I like they have to put the caveat of “including playoffs”. Peyton and Brady are the only ones on that list to get to 14 wins in the regular season…

Peyton won 79% of his games with the Broncos and that number only dips to 77% if playoffs are included. If he had a quality team like that his entire career he might have at least 5 Super Bowl rings.

I’m so glad the selection committee got this right and got him in. You can’t talk about great hitters without talking about Todd Helton.

When I was little, I, along with a lot of the younger kids, would always finish up my little league practice and run to the “big field” at the end of the Inskip ball park, to watch the older guys practice or play. The ones I’m referring to were a few years older and were already legendary at like 13-14 years old...Chris Freeman, Bubba Trammell and TODD HELTON!
I never dreamed I was watching a future, MLB hall of famer, but even then, you could tell that guy was on a different level!

When I was little, I, along with a lot of the younger kids, would always finish up my little league practice and run to the “big field” at the end of the Inskip ball park, to watch the older guys practice or play. The ones I’m referring to were a few years older and were already legendary at like 13-14 years old...Chris Freeman, Bubba Trammell and TODD HELTON!
I never dreamed I was watching a future, MLB hall of famer, but even then, you could tell that guy was on a different level!

That's the guy ,I went to junior college with for a year . Chris Freeman he played 1 season at Walter State in Morristown before transferring to Tennessee.. 1991

A funny story about Bubba Trammell...
The legend goes, Bubba hit a homerun that hit off the back of the Duffs smorgasbord building on Merchants Dr!
Now that I look back on it, that means it cleared the field, a patch of woods with the creek and then part of the parking lot, making it probably a 800’ + moon shot!
But it was true, I knew kids that “saw him do it, cross my heart and hope to die!”

Ichiro is a first ballot HOF. CC might get in but I personally don’t view him as a no doubt HOF. He is one of those fringe players. All of the other guys deserve to be in the “Hall of Very Good” imo.
