Yeah but Clemson had a class that was awesome on paper about a half decade ago, draft poached about half of those kids and then Clemson had such a bad season the coach was fired that year iirc.

Obviously won’t happen to tony, but draft poaching is definitely not a good thing. Coaches have to kind of paradoxically recruit around it and not take some of the higher rated obvious first round picks.

College baseball is very weird if you come at it from a football perspective.
