Not so fast my friend... Dodgers in two...
As a Reds fan, I'm disappointed but not surprised. Last night the Reds faced a pitcher who the Dodgers signed for over $300mill in addition to sending $50mill to his former team in Japan. Blake Snell got $185mill from the Dodgers and then there's that leadoff hitter, just to mention a few. Meanwhile teams like the Reds have to draft a guy like Hunter Greene and hope in ten yrs he can be like those guys. If he is, he'll soon leave for pastures in markets like LA

MLB is an f'd up system. I hope they lock out for the entire 2027 season if they have to to address this. This sort of inequity isn't tolerated in any other professional sport

They will stay locked out Because the players will never agree to a Salary Cap you so badly desire.... Btw... Asked the $49 million dollar Payroll players of the Miami Marlins from 2003 if you need a salary cap to win... Also the Kansas City Royals from 2015...

Not only that, I don't know if the owners can agree on a system.

The Marlins and Royals played it right for a small market team. Build, go all in, hope the stars align, then tear it down and start over again. Is that what the Dodgers do?

Do you need money to win? Let's use the Dodgers as an example. They're about $200mill over the median MLB payroll. Show me $200mill in salary cuts and let's see what kind of team you've got left
