My contact who is helping Currie was also working with Florida. He said Gundy's name never came up. He's the same person who broke the news to me yesterday about meeting with Gundy and Peyton, and the offer to make him the highest paid head coach to not win a national championship.

ok....i dunno who you are, or who your contact is, so that's fine for you. i'm just sharing what this guy reported.

Dear 8 pound, 6 ounce baby Jesus, please let this deal happen! As a fan base we need something positive to finally happen to us! We are hurting! Please show us some mercy!

Gundy would be a perfect fit here. Personality wise. Hair style wise. Attitude wise. I love it. He’s got balls. We need some balls back on the hill.

I’ve just not seen anything that proved it other than places reporting that was the rumor. I’m not meaning to bash at you, I just have got to a point I believe nothing unless it’s from the UTAD (which I despise at the moment). No offense towards you, my bad for sounding that way.

I just want a coach :cray:

Per Hyams, Gundy said he would look at the Tennessee job because it gives him a better shot at winning a national title.

Guys ... if Mike Gundy can't decide today that he wants to double his salary, then I don't think Mike Gundy is going to be our coach. Looks like another way to get more money at OK State.

i get that line of thinking. but...it is a big decision. i would hope he would take a night. i would. can't blame him, regardless of his decision.

i think he's definitely taking it under more consideration this time.
