He won 6 games this year with a crappy team. He ain’t as bad as Pruitt, Butch, or Precious
He benefited from Nix being hurt and Florida completely quitting on their db of a coach mid season. He will be no better than 6-6 in year two you can book it. Worse than Pruitt

Why on earth would Beamer be a more desirable candidate for OU than Heupel? Don’t get me wrong, that makes me happy but why is Beamer so highly regarded?[/QUOTE
Has this always been your username or are you who I think you might be?

I just didn’t know if you were part of that sorry group that tried to screw this board up and start that other stupid a___ board. Just calling it like is if you are him.

Not sure, but my gut feeling is that if Brent Venables isn't introduced by tomorrow pm, he isn't the one for OU. Would have already been done by now, and Clemson is posting pics of BV everywhere recruiting to kinda suggest he aint leaving. They are talking about a $2.4 million package to keep him at CU.

As apposed to a likely 5 mil per year as HC at Ok. (if they want him) Really staying for 2.4? you can't be serious.

Clemson is 190 miles from Knoxville and in the middle of prime UT recruiting territory. Norman is 900 miles from Knoxville and basically has to raid Texas. I'd rather face Dabo head to head every decade than have to recruit against him from 190 miles away every year. Or maybe you missed some Knoxville area 5 stars heading to Clemson the last few years.
Yep!! Back in the day we owned the Carolinas. Would help our cause if Clemson, UNC, etc allowed us to cherry pick

That coaching hot board is atrocious and probably inaccurate. If it were going to be a current college head coach, it would probably already be announced. A coordinator who still has a lot to play for or an NFL coach makes much more sense at this point in time. I would throw the bank at Dave Aranda if I were Oklahoma

I think it's Fickell's job now that ND is going for Freeman. It makes sense that Stoops would hold down the fort and minimize the inevitable decommits/transfers until the season is over.

Shane is not leaving USCE. ZTrust me!
He’s making under 3 million. Oklahoma can double his salary and still be a good bit under what they were paying Riley. I doubt he goes bc I doubt he’s their top choice but if they push for him I don’t think Carolina will keep up with Oklahoma.

Ive sat with several of his coaches recently. Trust me he aint leaving. Shane has morals unlike some of these guys. Ive dealt with him for a long time.

Maybe. I just don’t see how he passes on an opportunity at a better program with more pay.
