Oh now that is great coaching.. just bring him on in.

How about the play where the DL batted the pass down and the DB jumped up and down PO'ed because he had the route jumped and had a sure pick?

I am pretty convinced that when the decision was made to make the move to Stephens, Crompton was told it was provisional. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Fulmer himself told him to keep his helmet on (which Crompton did) because both of the guys were even starters....and if Stephens messed up, Crompton would be in. Sure...maybe Stephens was a bit messed up in the head after that pick 6....maybe a series of Crompton was necessary...but sticking with him for an inCromptonent quarter convinced me that Fulmer was keeping a promise. I've seen all I want to see of this ridiculous crap...if you have to sell out the team to keep players' allegiance then you've lost your touch.

At the time Stephens got credited for his 1st INT in 105 passes, which if anyone seen the play they could clearly see it was stupid Briscoes fault, my dad was talking about bringing Fulmer back next year. When Crompton came on the field for the remainder of the 1st my dad went into orbit. Making that ignorant move he lost his last supporter who isn't on his coaching staff in my dad.

CPF had no choice but to put Crompton in. Stephens display forced the issue.
