Most hear are very knowledgeable fans of the game and it was evident on "several series" that the Defense just mailed it in way before the 4th quarter even started.

All in all, this is a painful reminder of what CPF would do when up against superior teams, except his teams had talent and depth usually, just poor leadership from the staff.

2008 season was difficult.

We haven't hit bottom yet.

i want to believe . . . i want to cheer again . . . i remember being in New Orleans whooping the Canes . . . I remember actually beating UA and UF . . . I remember beating FSU . . . I remember being featured in national reporting on college football for something other than arrests and now shower issues (channeling my inner William Shatner). . . I am sorry guys I just didn't see anything that looked different . . . I can't take this losing like we are a Memphis or Tulane or something

Crap , I am flying in from wisconsin to see the florida game next week! I hope next week is not like tonight???:unsure::ermm: Still going to go and root for my vols anyway!!!!

It's cool, I sounded like a douche too. I still have faith in Dooley myself and believe he has the right attitude to get us back on track...and out of handcuffs hopefully...:p

At this point it is what it is. The dropoff in talent from our 1st team to 2nd is as deep as the grand canyon. Honestly, its time to throw Bray to the wolves against UF and let the cards fall where they may. Hey, kid has to learn one way. Simms is terrible. I don't care who his daddy is.

THat was a tough second half, good night all. Our lack of depth really showed through vs a high tempo offense. Turning point in the game was a BS penalty call to lead to oregons td, down hill from there.

I agree, thats what makes me mad. We quit, had no clue how to tackle, made dumb penalties and special teams was as bad as ever. I thought this staff would fix that stuff. I don't mind to lose, but when those things happen I do!

Right.

Let Tennessee convert to a spread-option team. That would solve all of our woes. Just absolutely perfect personnel. There are just as many clueless "spread" teams as there is pro-style -- if you don't have the right personnel it doesn't really matter what you're running.

Bill Walsh would struggle with Matt Simms.
