Id hardly call us a good offense. Whats going on is a good old fashion physical battle. You're getting outpowered. Yea you've had success with that gimmicky spread bullsh*t you call an offense but we're dominating the line of scrimmage.

The tackling has been god awful but other then that we've held what appears to be a good offense to just two FG's and a TD despite giving them great field position the whole half. Not great but not awful either. And you can bet on seeing some adjustments.

Remember you're the ones with the supposedly "explosive" offense and we're the ones with 5 new starters on the O-line, a juco QB with a true freshman back-up, 2 new RBs and our best receiver out of the game. Seriously? You want to say your D did as well as ours?:crazy:

I think it's just a result of comparing the game efforts between the #7 team in the country and the number, what the hell are we..45-50?? team in the country.:p

If I was the coach it would be simple. I would take a football and hand it to someone else. Then I would ask the defense "Who has the ball?" Hopefully, they answer correctly and I tell them that's who they tackle.

Considering we have been hearing the Ducks were going to lay 50 on us, well, yeah...we are going to sing our defense some praise.

Your the number 7 teamin the country playing a young inexperienced unranked team....and yet, they have gave up 137 yards to one running back. Forgive us if we don't sit in awe of your stout defense.

Our offense is not expected to get us more than 6 wins this season whereas the Ducks was expected to have them competing for a NC. Yes, the ducks holding us to 13 is not near as impressive as our nonranked team holding the #1 ranked offense to 13 points in the first half.

All we have heard all week is how your offense is going to run all around us. how it will be over by half time. Well its half time and we held you to 13 and are in a position to win if we execute.

There was a bad punt and a bad Kickoff return, that one that was fumbled, he got way too many yards, I think it was Evans, but he made a fantastic play, causing that fumble and turning the momentum of the game around.

Our offense might be the single most one dimensional in football. Congrats on holding us to a couple hundred yards of offense.

You live and you learn... apparently football is going to be considered a "non-contact" sport in the near future. Thats the only way to guarantee player safety.

These players are playing football knowing what they are doing... they know the risks. If someone obviously tries to injure another player, thats one thing... but Gordon tried to avoid hitting him... good luck changing direction last second right after it rained.

Simms has played all of 1 and a half games as a starter Einstein.... If you have a better solution to getting the offense back in gear than throwing the ball SOME so Oregon can't just key on the run (as they seem to hve figured out, you know....) then by all means.... enlighten us with your incredible insight.

That's actually not correct at all. I don't know what you mean by fancy, but I saw some very nice schemes. We were actually fairly multiple that half.

The play that led to the Gerald Williams sack was a great play call. It completely confused them, they were blocking the wrong guys the whole time.

We were 4-3, we were 3-4, we brought a corner blitz. It wasn't vanilla.

I'll agree that the offense was.
