Official UT vs. Ducks Game Thread - 7:00 EDT - ESPN2

The fans were in a lot more danger than the players.

I wonder if it is even possible for lightning to make it all the way to field past all that steel.

Get UT Physics Dept to do the calcs...

Because the fans didn't want to get struck by lightning?

Ok, in 22 years of watching football I have never seen a lighting delay or been to a game that had a lightnming delay ... do they exit the stadium and go outside???? How does this work?

as expected from the older folks.

Excuse me if I offend anyone, but that's just dumb. It was in the forecast. It was going to happen. Why bother going at all if you are going to bail because of a 45 minute delay? It was quite obvious from the weather reports that after these thunderstorms moved through, the weather would be fine.

Wet field narrows the gap in speed. I'm not so sure this isn't a blessing.
Well if Oregon is faster than us, then wouldn't that still make them faster than us at a slower pace? Did I just blow your mind?

anyone heard if the crowd at neyland is still staying strong? we need our fans to come back full force!
