I made 60 deviled (mine are actually not deviled) eggs last night. Still don’t know how many will be here. I invited as many as I could that are alone. It’s a tradition I started back in my Navy days, when I couldn’t go home for the holidays. I didn’t even know how to cook back then. Called my mother and grandmother, so they could talk me through it and invited as many service members I could. Cooked for 2 days. It was a tight fit in my 2 bedroom apartment. After dinner, every one that showed up, cleaned up for me. Some of my favorite memories.
