Knee deep in slinging food around, I attempted to carve turkey and ham. Ran out of gas. The BF saved me and mom.

(ORB’s quote got buried in mine, but she wrote that she always does turkey again for the AL residents on Thanksgiving, even though they’d had it at the big blow-out on Saturday.)

I’m pretty sure that was the plan. I was told on the phone last week that it would be a mini-Thanksgiving, with turkey and whatnot. I’m guessing that some sort of Drama happened, resulting in the “cook wanted” sign.

I’m now mentally reviewing the list of employees that I’m on friendly terms with in hopes of getting someone to spill the beans!
