Per UT Football twitter wearing alternate Smokey grey uniform in Music City Bowl to honor victims of the Gatlinburg wildfires!

Very good move for UT Football.

Wow! You should just go somewhere else. There is a time and a place to show your displeasure towards the team. This thread isn't it. Go pull for Bama, your no UT fan.

I was hoping for all orange and the gray helmet. That would allow us to both support the cause and represent our brand.

It is a worthy cause, tho.

Many ways the school could honor those that suffered instead of a grey jersey symbolic move.

How about contributing some or all of the bowl payout to a recovery fund or the Red Cross for example? Bet the folks in East Tennessee would appreciate that more than some symbolism on TV that they probably can't watch due to no TV anymore.

Weak argument.

Valid point is valid.

If the players care as much as some of our fans, when it comes to the color of our uniforms, it could be a long day. Don't get me wrong, orange is my favorite, and I say wear orange every game they will let us(like LSU and their white but not ignorant).

Beat Nebraska!
