I'm really not sure why you say that. We have very few seniors on this team. Foster is only a Junior. Mayo is only a junior (though we might lose him). Berry is one of the oustanding talents I've seen. The WRs should pick it up. Looking forward to seeing more of Jones. Crompton was a top recruit, and I'm curious to see him play.
You may be right, but I'm just not seeing all that many negatives on the horizon.
[quote=blackmon;1061155]And so Ainge will join the pantheon of second tier athletes who had much promise and for whatever reason did not pan out.
I appreciate him regardless. He was a perfect fit for the underachieving less-than-stellar Vols.
With what is coming down the pike we will see more of the same. An east ring does not change the statistics of what we are or what we have.
Regardless, the best day as an LSU tiger is not better than the worst day as a Vol.
Go Vols. I'll be wearing my orange tomorrow.
Did he actually say that, or did he just say that the staff would be taken care of? I missed a few days of the news cycle this week.
With a bowl game pending, and after the recent rumors about contract extensions and raises, here's my question.....
Given this loss...and given Mike Hamilton's statement last year about "an SEC Championship every 4 years, and competing for the National Championship every 10 years"...
It will be, at least, 10 years between SEC Championships, and 10 years since we competed for a National Championship.
Not to mention our bowl record over the past 10 years....
Why would extensions or raises even be considered?
go vols.
