Not worrisome about the run game, but yes -worrisome about Poole's vision, he seems to be having a hard time seeing past the first block.

Worrying about stats from the first scrimmage is like being on your first date and worrying about what to buy for your silver anniversary.

No worry there. Doubt he is the starting back with someone bigger and faster behind him

Jeez, statistics are worthless with such a small sample size.

Runs are full of ups and downs, a 15 yarder here a -2 yarder there. You can't pull the best run of the day out to make it look worse. It's 9 carries for 21 yards, it's not great, but it's a practice scrimmage.

Did he have any TFLs? If so, remove those and what does his stat line look like? It goes both ways.

We know what we have in Tauren....a 1k rb.

Not worried.

Yeah. He looked great against UK when his inconsistency forced us to abandon the running game completely. But hey, he ran for 1,000 yards.

Not worried at all. Pool is a stud, he's gotta stay health. he's got a lot more to worry about than Neal does. He will run a lot harder in real games, just wait!

Was the first team offensive line blocking for poole? If so, I'd be more worried about that.

By gosh, I don't think it's even possible to better put this 1st scrimmage gloom and doom foolishness into perspective than the above comment. :eek:k:

i've never considered poole to be an sec-caliber starting rb. not basing that off the stats from the scrimmage or anything, rathar just my outlook that i've always had for him. i wouldn't be surprised to see his carries reduced from last season when 2011 starts. jmho
