Official NCAA Selection Show Thread [Vols No. 2 seed in Midwest/Lexington]

I don't believe this is the case. Freak usually can't place NCAA tournament games on Youtube, as they're much more aggressive about taking down anything from the tournament.
The Creighton game was on YouTube last year not long after the game ended. I think it was Freak.

I thought BJ and the Bear came on after The Dukes… maybe my memory is fading

I could step in and replace the PG and UK’d somehow slide through. I haven’t shot a ball in a year. I am a relentless defender (but i also don’t really respect the sport and think that, though entertaining, baseball and football are superior sports in that order), but blue bloods seem to universally get the wink and nod from the zebras. As a simple sport, the officials get to play a bigger part in the game.

Nope. Big East was weak this year and UConn simply wasn't that good
All bets are off tournament time. I wouldn't bet against the 2 time defending Champion knocking Florida off. Besides who the hell wants to pull for the Gators or Connecticut as far as that goes. Anyway if Connecticut don't beat Florida then St.John's will. Call girl Rick is a better HC than the stalker Todd Golden.

To each their own. I think we beat either one of them. UCLA is definitely the more balanced team statistically, but Utah State is 15th nationally in field goal percentage and they’re looking to play at a quicker tempo whereas UCLA will feed into the slower pace of play that we try to play at. Teams like Utah State, while they’re more susceptible to getting blown out if they aren’t shooting the ball well, are also the scarier team in my opinion for us.

Like I said, I think we beat Utah State if that’s who we end up playing. I’ll be a little more nervous about playing them than I would be about playing UCLA, though.
I don’t think either Utah State or UCLA has the scoring depth to beat us if we play to our standard of defense.

Utah State is 2-3 over their last 5, losing to Colorado State twice and Boise State. UCLA is 3-2 over their last 5, losing to Wisconsin and Purdue.

I’d say UCLA would be the tougher battle, but what’s nice is that they don’t have a dominant big. Our guards would force them to shoot tough shots.

Edit: Utah State is 149th (sheesh) in KenPom defensive efficiency.

Auburn loses 3 of last 4 and is #1 overall seed? Over Duke?

Florida or Duke should have been #1 overall seed. Florida went 5-1 against Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee and were the only SEC team to finish with 30 wins and somehow they ended up the fourth number 1 overall. I don’t care that Auburn played a tough OOC schedule when they were exposed in SEC play down the stretch. Florida beat them easily on the road and didn’t even have Alijah Martin playing in the game. Give me whoever wins that 8/9 matchup between Creighton and Louisville to knock them off. Creighton especially is dangerous because they have Kalkbrenner who can completely neutralize Broome.

Rick and Todd would probably share and compare pictures and phone numbers.
