Official Nashville Predators Thread

Man-o-Man.

This is something else. I saw the time we overcame a 3 goal deficit, in the third, at Joe Lewis arena, and claimed it to be the craziest game I had watched.

Not anymore.

What kind of trade you guys think we are trying to make?

I heard they were looking at Roy, and had also inquired about Pominville/Vanek. Roy is in Vancouver I honestly don't see Pominville/Vankek being traded, though.

Preds seem to be in a spot where adding anyone obtainable won't make a world of difference at the moment, so I wouldn't expect much. They aren't out of the playoffs, but nothing they can add will make them a legitimate contender either, no pending FA of note, so I think they'll just hold, personally.

Gitty win by the boys tonight & still a smaaaall glimmer of hope that we can make the post season.

STL will really have to help us out though.

Erat has played like a dog this year. Just seems to be missing some hand/eye coordination and hasn't really skated well, imo. Seems like lots of turnovers. Maybe he is trying to be Radulov or something.

He's turned it on as of late though..I think it was something like 8 points in his last 8 games maybe.

It's bitter sweet for sure but getting Forsberg in return is huge.

Tough to see Marty go, he could have been a lifer. But flipping a 31 year old winger on his back 9 and a tough guy with middle 6 max potential for Forsberg, who has top 6 or even 3 potential, is a pretty good deal by Poile. Hurts the playoff push for this year, but we were already behind the 8 ball there.

We were still hoping to make a run this year?

If Forsberg pans out to anything close to what most scouts/experts think he will, then we got the better end of the deal and it isn't even close.

Erat's a max 50-55 point per year guy on the downside of his career & Latta is a spark plug energy, bottom 6 guy.
