Official Nashville Predators Thread

Was at the game Saturday night; I didn't expect that result, but maybe I should have given San Jose's recent struggles and they play in Dallas Friday night.

Despite getting completely blown out, I actually thought that San Jose controlled the puck for extended periods of time but didn't always get a great shot. Rinne played well and it looked like he was seeing the puck well.

Jarnkrok was lucky to have not gotten a double minor or major for boarding Haley. You still can't sucker punch a guy, but he was clearly boarded.

Going to the game tonight, I feel like the Islanders will win but I hope not. Hopefully the Preds can get a point or two out of this trip to NY and Boston

People love to go to the bright lights. Although it was great for the Islanders to get out of that old stadium.

Predators getting hot at the right time. Good for Pekka to get some rest tonight and Saros played well.

My money says the Islanders will back in the mausoleum before too long.

I've heard that Barclays Center is not good for hockey and they are upset that they moved off of Long Island. That still the case?

I think it was a case of Nassau County calling the Islanders bluff when they threatened to move to Brooklyn, nobody involved actually thought it would happen.

I wouldn't call it a sucker punch when you see the wind up. But I'm biased, this losing steak is killing me. Not having Velasic is showing how important he is.
