Official Miami Marlins thread

Went to Pensacola Wahoos game last night and saw Eury Perez start against the Ms. Braves. Impressive. He was signed by the Marlins for $200K as a 16 year-old when he was throwing 88mph. He's now 19 years old, 6'8", 97 MPH fastball, pretty good control, smooth as silk. 6 innings, 3 hits, 5K, 1BB, no runs. When warming up for the game, most of the Wahoo pitchers gathered around the bullpen to watch him throw. I've never seen that before. The kid is special. Don't know if they'll rush him up to the show, but he definitely has the stuff to be a star.
