Official March Madness Thread

There were a few times he was visibly frustrated at the line. Definitely got in his head. But I blame the loss more on Shai, Hami, Wenyen, Richards, and even Knox. Those 4 combined for only 34 points on 8-29 shooting. Just straight awful.

Yea they drank the “poison”.

I think fouling only down 3 with over 35 seconds left is stupid. Syracuse did that last night. The way teams play final possessions they’re likley to heave up a last second shot - low percentage. I’d rather take my chance than put them at the line only needing to hit one to go up 2 possessions.

The were under seeded in ‘16 when they made the elite Eight? They were a 1 seed. Kind of hard to be seeded higher than that.

My bad, I've been effed up since then. But, even u have to agree, since Bennett has been at UVA, they usually under achieve in the NCAA Tourney

What was FSU doing at the end? Gave up with ten seconds left only down four.

Down two possessions with 10 seconds left - they were done. They shouldn’t have put themselves in that position. They were only down 1 possession but decided to foul and went down 2.

I didn't understand that, either.

I didn’t see it but they are making a big deal out of it. More so his interview than the actual decision.

Prediction. Next the twitter verse is gonna be flooded with video of another coach doing the same thing and not getting questioned for it.

Line -4.5. Coach had money on the game. Simple as that.

I like it if you continue to attack the rim when you get the ball back.

When you settle for an awful look from 3 instead of understanding the situation, you get what FSU did last night. Ugly

I was pretty impressed with Leonard Hamilton and have even been wondering where TN's last 25 years would have turned out had he been selected over Wade. But he looked foolish and clueless when he was asked about giving up versus Michigan instead of fouling down 4 with 15 seconds left. Seminole Nation must be roasting him today (if they care about basketball).

Complete opposite, actually. Nole fans have been frustrated with Leonard for years now. They realize he brings in talent that most guys wouldn’t be able to bring to Tallahassee but can’t ever coach it up to the success that comes with that. They consistently have talent but always seemed to underachieve, which was the fans expectations going into every year.

After this run to the E8, all the guys I know are happy. A few weeks ago they weren’t even sure if they would make the tournament. Wished the ending could have been handled better but they are happy to have gotten that far. I would say the guys I know are pretty intelligent sports fans when it comes to FSU everything. Good pulse on the fan base so that’s what was told to me over the past few weeks. (They do have pretty awful basketball fans, no one cares)

I think the players are the ones that quit and Hamilton is not talking about it so not to throw his players under the bus. During the telecast you could see him waving and jumping around after Michigan's last rebound. Looked to me like he was trying to get them to go foul. But they just stood around and called it done.

You might be thinking about an assistant coach jumping around. Hamilton stood there like a statue on that final rebound.

I just watched the last 24 seconds. You are right. It was an assistant midway down the bench. And he wasn't as demonstrative as I originally thought. FSU took such horrendous shots their last two possessions, maybe Hamilton thought "what's the point".

Good news. I spotted a guy in the crowd of the TT/Nova game, near the end of first half, wearing an orange shirt with a white Power T.
