Coack K is developing a very explosive offense.. It really is astonishing how much they've improved (speed/vision).

Beckerman will not be a part of the A team heading to Brasil. I would like to see Wondo, Donovan, and Shea retained from this group. Corona has looked crisp as well.

I like Beckerman too, compared to what we have. I don't think there is anybody that superior to him, he seems to be playing pretty well, and I think his style of play makes people undervalue him. We tend to value midfielders who are more offensive minded. Beckerman is great defensively and our offense is doing just fine with him in there.

Open question to anyone:

Who are the 7 or so midfielders you would like on the roster and who would you start in what alignment? I'm kind of out of my element when it comes to soccer. Just curious.

I'd go Zusi and Donovan at LM/RM and Bradley and Jones at CM. Cameron, Holden, Diskerud, Shea, Corona, EJ to fill it out.

This has to be a joke, right? Mexico is in shambles right now. While I enjoy that very much, I was looking forward to beating their brains in on Sunday.

This brand of soccer is exactly what the US needs. There's a bunch of young, energetic guys on the up-and-up, and they play hard.

They're scoring a ton, they don't fall down like a bunch of cry babies, and I think if they keep this up through the final round of the Hex, there will be a HUGE buzz and following of the US in Brazil.

Since the Germany game, I've been getting questions about soccer at work from guys that formerly denounced soccer as the stupidest sport in the country. Just a ton of momentum right now.
